Sun!

Grape Juice, Solos, and Speeches

I LOVE GRAPE JUICE. Ok so I was at my friend's house last weekend, and she had grape juice. I think I must have consumed the whole jug over the course of a day and a half, because we don't have grape juice at my house, and I freaking LOVE that stuff. You know what's weird? I used to hate anything grape, including grape cough medicine (I still think that stuff is soooo vile), and now I love grapes, GRAPE JUICE, and grape candy. Yuuummmm grapes. Tehe.

So I was trading fours with a buddy in jazz band on Tuesday and the band teacher was watching us, and after we were done, she's like, "You guys are going to trade fours at the jazz festival!"

My stomach kind of went to my throat at that point, and I almost flat-out refused to do it. But I figured it MIGHT be fun, so I just sat there in dread the rest of the time. Excitement, she wrote. I don't know, I think I might do just fine. I'm just being a whimp.

Speeches!!! In social studies I had to write a speech about an organization that strives towards "social equity", so I chose the NOW, the National Organization for Women, and I have to "not read" the speech. I am still processing that one. There are points where I'm like, "I'm going to do amazing!!! I got this!!" And then other times I'm like, "WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME??? I CAN'T DO THIS. WHY IS SHE MAKING IS GO THROUGH THIS TORTURE???" Anyway, I have the whole weekend and  Monday and Tuesday to practice! I GOT this!!! I guess this is one of those moments.... Or maybe not.... I'm not sure....
